I started valeting cars as a Saturday job at the age of 14 for Hartwell Ford in Scunthorpe.

When I left school, I worked full time at the same garage until I was about 16, before being offered a new job in Lincoln, valeting for Jaguar / Rover. From there, I moved to Boston to work for various second-hand car dealerships, until I was headhunted by Simon for the job at Stanwell VW and Audi.

At that time, I was the only female valet in Boston which was something I was quite proud of! It was nice to hear that my hard work, professionalism and knowledge of the job was noticed by other valeting companies in the area.

I continued to work at Stanwell’s until I had my first son in 2005, and then concentrated on being a mum for a couple of years. My partner Simon was working for Autosmart at that time, and one of his customers was Pre-Sure Ltd, run by Chris Webster.

Chris offered me a job, which first consisted of me washing out on site before then moving on to the valeting side of things.

I worked for Chris for a couple of years until I fell pregnant with my second son, but I always came back as I loved the job so much.

When Simon joined us, we all continued to progress the business and watched it grow to where it is today. In October 2016, myself and Simon took the business on as our own and are continuing to grow and prosper to this day!
